Dogs love the game of throwing a ball, and they will not get tired of it. Unfortunately, their owners do not always have time for that. The iFetch automatic ball launcher is a best way to keep the dog entertained without spending hours throwing the ball. All you or your dog need to do is to drop the ball into the top of the gadget, and then as it launches your dog gets to chase after it. If you spend some time training your dog, you can teach it to play fetch on its own.
The iFetch is my dogs favorite toy. She plays with it until she is exhausted. My favorite thing is I don’t have to help. I can enjoy watching her play. It is the best money I ever spent on a pet toy. I tell everyone to get one.
iFetch Philosophy
iFetch strives to developing new, innovative dog toys that help dogs live happy, healthy lives. They focus on dog toys that promote play and exercise – both indoors and outdoors. And their commitment to quality will never waiver.
They believe in the importance of mental stimulation for dogs. Physical exercise is great and necessary, but it is only half of the equation. If the dog is not mentally challenged each day, it is never truly tired, and that is where behaviour issues can arise. It’s hard to believe, but dogs will be more tired after fifteen minutes of scent games (or training with the iFetch) than a thirty minute walk around the neighbourhood. Mental fatigue makes dogs (and humans) feel more physically tired than physical effort alone. That is why iFetch designed products to be interactive.
Mental stimulation is a key component
The combination of physical activity with mental activity is at play with all of iFetch products. The dog has to learn to successfully drop the ball into the top of iFetch toys in order for the action to start, and to continue. Also, when people invest time training their dog to use iFetch ball launchers and brain games, they are also strengthening the bond with their pet. iFetch toys are not for the “lazy” dog owner. It takes owner’s commitment and attention to help the dog – but it is worth it.
iFetch products can help tire the dog by getting the dog some exercise while its owner is at work. So the dog will easily meet its daily physical activity rate.
Types Of iFetch Automatic Ball Launcher
There are 3 types of launcher that you can purchase for your dog depending on their size: The Original iFetch – for small and medium-sized dogs, iFetch Too – for big dogs. The Original iFetch and iFetch Too are both powered and shoot the ball out either 10ft, 20ft or 30ft. These are perfect for dogs that love to chase the ball a distance. The difference between the machines is that the iFetch Too shoots out regular sized tennis balls rather than smaller balls.
One more launcher is iFetch Frenzy. The iFetch Frenzy is an interactive, gravity-driven fetching toy that does not require batteries or power. It is perfect for small dogs and small spaces and offers so much fun for dogs who love to play with or without their owners. When the ball is dropped into the top of the machine it rolls out one of the 3 holes at the bottom. Your dog will have hours of fun chasing the ball and dropping it back into the top.
Pros And Cons Of iFetch Automatic Ball Launcher
Some dogs need a lot more exercise than others and iFetch launcher gives an opportunity to get in additional exercise on top of their walks and playtime. You can set the launcher up in the house, if there is enough space, and allow your dog playing ball. This is also perfect for rainy or cold days.
You need to take the time to train your dog to play with it. And if your dog learns to play fetch alone, you will spend less time with it and will not see its wagging tail and happy eyes. What is more, leaving the dog with the balls, you have to know that it can eat them.
